Three Lessons

It’s been said that time repeats itself. If these three lessons are analyzed in the light of present day and how the Muslim Rulers doomed because of discrimination and the lust for collecting more and more money, benefitted the other nations. In the end, they lost the money which was the prime cause of their poor condition.

      1. After conquering Baghdad, largest city in Iraq, Halaku Khan along with his companions made a plan to kill Mohtasim B’Allah. They all made a plan to kill him but the two so called muslims; Naseer ud din Tosi, Ibn e Aqalmi, who were present in that meeting suggested to Halaku/Halagu that he should not corrupt your sword with the blood of this guy instead we suggest you to kill him by strangulation. Halagu liked that suggestion and decided to allow Aqalmi to do the honors. Aqalmi was said to be the ex-governor of Mohtasim B’Allah. One day Aqalmi went to his master and wrapped him in the leather sack and tied him with the pillars. He started to kick his master until he died. He was so out of his mind that he asked Tartari’s to keep on kicking his dead body until it turn outs to be a piece of raw meat.

2       2. When tartari’s were busy in misrepresenting Islam and harming the image of Islam & Muslims by killing them and spilling the blood of Muslims. At that time, Imam Bin Taimiyah convinced Muslims to fight for themselves (Jihad) against the Tartars. But many scholars and Muslim thinkers had opposite views about the issues that whether or not the engagement in the battle against the Tartars is lawful (Halal). This issue lead Muslims to nowhere, giving more freedom to the Tartars to harm the Muslims while Muslims were busy in keeping in line with their Religion.

3       3. The caliph of Baghdad had constructed so many underground hidden pools of jewels, coins and precious stones for himself. When Halagu Khan conquered the land of Baghdad and put the caliph in jail for life, he took all those jewels in his custody. Halagu ordered his men to serve the caliph with those jewels decorated in plate whenever he pleads for food or something to eat. Caliph tried to object on this cruelty and demanded bread instead of jewels but was shunt by Halaku’s statement which has a historical and moralistic position in the world;

If you cannot eat these jewels then why the heck you spent all of your life in storing them? Why didn’t you bothered to use all this money to save yourself and Muslims from Tartars? Why didn’t you offered all that money as a reward to your soldiers so that they could have fought with more bravery and motivation in the battlefield to save your ass?

Little conqueror- Salah ud din Ayubi

In the secret caves of mountain ranges of Syria, an emergency meeting was called. This meeting was held and arranged by the enemies of Islam. These people were notoriously known as hashashins (Assassins).  They had also constructed their personal Jannah in those caves.  Ameer Sanan, the false profit of these infidels, used to hide in these caves and formed conspiracies against the Islamic countries. He was known as sheikh ul jabbal. He had more influence in the countries like Egypt, Syria and Iran. He always looked forward for the moments & situations where he could take over these countries only on one small wrong move by the Muslims. To assassinate the important Muslim figures against heavy amount was his core business.

It was near mid night when the pious ruler of Islamic world, Amad ud din Zangi, was in a deep sleep in his camp. He was in a habit to place only one guard outside his camp before going to bed. During midnight, the guard hideously came inside the camp and assured of Zangi’s deep sleep killed with a dagger dipped in the poison.  65 years old Sultan tried to defend himself but he was hit 21 times with the dagger which took all his energy and martyred the Sultan. This guard took advantages of the dark night and flees to the, devil of the time, Sheikh al Jabbal to inform him of his deed. Jabbal had recived huge sum of money from the Christians for this murder.

The news of Sultan’s death had spread everywhere and every eye was sad & filled with tears upon the death of their Sultan.  At that time, the future’s conqueror of Bail ul Muqadas Yusuf, Salah ud din Ayubi, was 10 years of age and his father was a captain of Sultan’s army. Salah ud din was informed by his mother, Zubeida khatoon, of the death of Sultan. He went inside his room and brought back the sword, gifted to him by Sultan for recitation of Quran, Zubaida remembered that sword and was astonished to hear Yusuf saying “Mother! I’ll punish the murderers of Sultan with this sword”.

As the time passed by, Salah ud din reached his adolescent and with the passage of time he became the emperor of Egypt. Hashashins tried to kill him several times but every time he surprisingly was saved of their attacks by God. On their last attempt to assassinate him, Salah ud din was badly injured. This time Salah ud din decided to fight with the assassins.

The mountain ranges that kept hidden Sheikh Al Jabbal were very dangerous and pointed ones. Hashashins had built very narrow and small doors n these mountains to hide themselves. They were at advantage due to these doors because no army could attack these people by passing though these doors at a time. Jabbal felt so safe in these mountain ranges because of the hide and seek type of caves structure and difficulty to climb them.  He believed it will be easy for him to kill and defeat the Muslim troops. On the other hand, Ayubi was in a great difficulty to find out the right way in those mazes of caves.

Forces of Ayubi wandered nearly two months in those mountain ranges. One day Sultan Ayubi announced very strange plan.  He ordered to buy oil worth millions around the globe and to be brought down to that particular place. He order his troops to pour the oil in those narrow doors for almost three days and finally to lit these caves with match sticks. Hashashins never expected that from Sultan. Within few hours more than 5000 hidden hashashins were suffocating to death in their secret places and they started to run out of those caves. But the time had already passed and they were out of time now with no proper path to exit from those narrow doors.

Many died in the pursuit of coming out of those caves and those who actually managed to come out were instantly killed by Sultan Slah ud din Ayubi’s army. During this chaos, Jabbal was killed under his own army’s feet. The Muslims had great success there and at the time of this conquest Sultan was holding the same sword he had once received from Sultan Amad ud din, who gifted the sword to him with the words “A Muslim should not only be a good religious scholar or recite’s  Quran, but should also be a brave warrior”.

Salah ud din Ayubi was married to the daughter of Sultan Noor ud din Zangi, who was the son of Amad ud din Zangi. Salāh-ed-Dīn-e Ayyūbī) (c. 1138 – March 4, 1193), better known in the Western world as Saladin, was a Kurdish Muslim, who became the first Sultan of Egypt and Syria, and founded the Ayyubid dynasty. He led Muslim and Arab opposition to the Franks and other European Crusaders in the Levant. At the height of his power, his sultanate included Egypt, Syria, Mesopotamia, Kurdistan, Hejaz, and Yemen.
